Wrapper redirected with fine strike handstamp '1' to Ilfracombe in Devon, also on front 'PRESTON' date stamp AU 22 1854 and fine strike 'NOTICE' handstamp in red. The writer a Mr James Moorhouse is objecting to the addressee being eligible to vote. On reverse 'ILFRACOMBE' date stamp AU 24 1854. The first such usage we have seen with this 'NOTICE' handstamp.
