Envelope, slight imperfections Manchester to 'H Barnett Esq, Bescot Hall, nr Walsall, Staffordshire' with fine Die 2 1d pl.12 L.C.14 (Spec C6) lettered NB a little off-centre and Die 2 1d pl.21 S.C.14 (SG24) lettered SC, NE corner perforation missing. Stamps tied fine strikes 'MANCHESTER/498' sideways duplex FE 9 1856 code 'S'. Mike Williams cert 2024/282. A very scarce combination with both small crown and large crown watermarks. (Ref 143713).
