Wrapper used locally in Edinburgh addressed to 'John Hamilton Esq, WS, 1 Scotland Street, Edinburgh' with fine 1d pl.111 (SG8) lettered BD with fine four margins and tied fine strike '131' numeral of Edinburgh. On reverse Edinburgh date stamp OCT 28 1851. (Ref 132137).
