    1854 DIE 1 1D PL.195 (SG17)(NB) VERY FINE 'PLUM' SHADE (SPEC C1(4). Small piece with fine used Die 1 1d pl.195 (SG17) lettered NB, a little off-centre but AN EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THE RARE PLUM SHADE (Spec C1(4). Stamp tied to piece by good to fine strike 'MANCHESTER/498' sideway duplex JA 11 1855 code 'O'. One of the best examples of this rare shade I have seen. RPS Cert 226985. (Ref 143161).
