    1882 KEBLE COLLEGE ENVELOPE AND WRITTEN HEADED PAPER BOTH WITH VERY FINE EMBOSSED IMPRINT OF KEBLE COLLEGE PROPOSED 'PARCELS STAMP' IN BLUE. Envelope in silurian blue, 107 x 82mm, several tone spots but on reverse flap superb embossed imprint of the Keble College proposed 'Parcels Stamp' in blue. Also note to Mr Wright (local tobacconist in Oxford) dated May 26 82, note requesting ½lb of tobacco, and at top superb embossed imprint of the Keble College proposed 'Parcels Stamp' in blue. Status of this Parcel Stamp has always been questioned but this seems to prove usage of same. Rare. (2 items). (Ref 141002).
