1845 PART WRAPPER SPALDING TO NOTTINGHAM WITH 'DONNINGTON LINCOLN/PENNY POST' HAND STAMP (LI255). Part wrapper, some soiling, from Spalding to Solicitors in Nottingham with 1d (SG8) lettered DK, touched at upper right otherwise good margins and tied fine strike '727' numeral of Spalding. On front fine strike 'Donnington Lincoln/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (LI255), on reverse SPALDING date stamp DE 31 1845 and GRANTHAM and NOTTINGHAM date stamps JA 1 1846. (Ref 129006).
