Good to fine 1d Mulready lettersheet, some creasing, from Bletchingley to 'Mifs Mary Grantham, Kilburn, near London' cancelled fair strike Godstone Maltese cross in black. On reverse fine strike scarce 'BLETCHINGLEY' udc in black (SY67), part overstruck London date stamp in red, but this udc only recorded 1846 in County Catalogue. Also on reverse 'GODSTONE' date stamp in black NO 20 1842. Very scarce provincial usage. (Ref 140931).
