1840 1D MULREADY ENVELOPE BIRMINGHAM TO RUGELY WITH 'BIRMINGHAM' SKELETON DATE STAMP (BM138). Fine used 1d Mulready envelope from Birmingham addressed to 'Mifs Smith, The Parch Fields, Rugely' cancelled good part strike red-orange Maltese cross of Birmingham. On reverse fine large part strike 'BIRMINGHAM/+' skeleton date stamp in red (BM138), and whilst date is unclear this date stamp is only recorded between 23rd October 1840 and 3rd November 1840.
