1858 DEVON/'LYNMOUTH' UDC/MOURNING ENVELOPE. 1858 mourning envelope (several tears) Lynmouth to South Molton with fine Die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered MG "970" numeral - this numeral originally allocated to the small village of Washford but 1848-1860 used at Lynmouth. On reverse fair "LYNMOUTH" udc in black and back stamped BARNSTAPLR DE 19 58. (Ref 76686).
