Fine wrapper London to Paris, post paid '4' in cash and on front fine die 2 1d pl.44 rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered PK tied very fine strike London '51' Inland Office numeral. On front 'LOMBARD ST/PAID' date stamp AP 5 59 overstruck with oval 'PD' hand stamp also in red. Alongside 'CALAIS' date stamp. Stamp shows constant variety 'LEFT BOTTOM SERIF OF K SLIGHTLY DOUBLE'.
