Envelope from London to 'Isaac Watts Esq, Wootton Bassett, Wilts' with 1d lilac (SG172) cancelled 'LONDON/W.C.18' duplex AP 18 85. Envelope some staining, at left fine line drawing of head and shoulders of a gentleman with a disapproving look with grey colour wash entitled 'Mr Jeremy Didler,/Bah! Primrose indeed! what next'. On reverse fine strike 'SWINDON.STATION' date stamp AP 18 85. (Ref 137255).
