A fine privately printed post card in blue, 120 x 75, used in London with imprint at top 'DISTRICT MESSENGER CARD.' and at upper right fine printed image of a stamp sized design depicting a running delivery boy with text 'SWIFT./SURE.' in blue. Card addressed to 'The Canada Company, 1 East India Avenue, E.C.' and fine printed message on reverse from the Directors of the 'District Message Company' informing the public that due to 'the extremely heavy royalties imposed upon their business by the Post Office, they have made arrangements to supply TICKETS FOR THE OPERA, THEATRES, AND ALL ENTERTAINMENT at all their Offices....'. Most unusual. (Ref 134959).
