1848 MAIL LONDON TO CADIZ WITH 'TOWER-STREET' DATE STAMP. Good to fine letter, some creasing from London to Cadiz via Southampton, dated 26th August 1848. On front light strike of the very scarce 'TOWER-STREET' double ring date stamp AU 26 1848 in black, first example we have seen, also London PAID date stamp 26 AU 1848 and Spanish '21R' very large accountancy hand stamp in red. On reverse CADIZ date stamp 6 SET 1848. Good usage. (Ref 128124).
