1823 MAIL USED IN LONDON WITH 'BRIXTON HILL/3PY P.PAID' RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP (L508). Fine wrapper used in London addressed to 'Michael Clayton Esqr., 6 Lincolns Inn, London' with post paid, on front fine strike 'Brixton Hill/3py P.Paid' London receiver's hand stamp in black (L508), recorded in use 1819-1838. Also on front fine strike 'T.P.PAID/AP.25/1823/12 NOON 12' date stamp in red. Ex Barrie Jay collection. (Ref 128059).
