    1828 MAIL USED IN LONDON READDRESSED TO DORSET AND THEN RETURNED TO LONDON WITH VARIOUS HAND STAMPS INCLUDING 'POSTAGE NOT PAID/TO LONDON' (L273a). Fine printed lettersheet from the Legacy Duty Department, London to The Strand, dated 24 Oct 28, redirected to Godmanstone nr Dorchester in Dorset and again readdressed to Swanage. Various hand stamps and charge marks on front and reverse include fair strike boxed 'Postage Not Paid/to London' italic style hand stamp in black (L273a) and boxed 'Dorchester/Py. Post' hand stamp in black (DT247). Good usage. (Ref 126775).
