    1791 LETTER USED LOCALLY IN LONDON WITH 'SOLDEN' RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP. Fine entire from Warwick St to 'Capt Wm Lee of the Queen's Dragoons, Mr Collier's Agent, Lisle Street Leicesterfields' redirected to 'To the Care of Cornel Stone Deptford' without postal charge, presumably privately delivered. On reverse very fine strike 'SOLDEN' London Penny Post receiver's straight line hand stamp in black. It is thought Mr Solden's receiving house was possibly adjacent to Lisle Street, his hand stamp is recorded 1788 to 1791. (Ref 123372).
