CIRCA 1890 'FORES'S COMIC ENVELOPE NO.1' BY LEECH DERAEDEMAEKER RE-PRINT. A good unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker re-print of 'Fores's Comic Envelope No.1', small repaired tear at top, in black on white wove paper. Caricature depicts Britannia despatching her messengers, the lion with an eye patch and with a monkey on his back in uniform with a cocked hat. At left references to China and opium, at right a planter with negro attending to a cask and at lower left and right are post boys making haste. (Ref 135459).
