Fine letter from London to a solicitor in Rochester dated 25th Aug 1840, on front fine strike London PAID date stamp 25 AU 1840 and good to fine strike of the very scarce '1Coml. Rd.3/1py P.Paid' London receiver's hand stamp in mauve (L506d) with '3' reversed. On reverse good strike very scarce 'Stepney' London receiver's hand stamp in black (L86).
