On front fine to very fine strike 'MAIDSTONE/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (KT728). On reverse MAIDSTONE date stamp DE 17 with year slugs omitted and postal charge increased to '2' to accommodate Postmasters perk. (Ref 125956).
