    PL.44 (QC QD CONSTANT VARIETY)(SG40). Fine used horizontal pair 1857 die 2 1d pl.44 rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered QC QD, QC showing very fine constant variety SPOT ON NOSTRIL, only seen on transitional/rose-red shades. Stamps cancelled "493" numerals of Maidstone. (Ref 109182).
