1856 MOURNING ENVELOPE CHELTENHAM TO DAVENTRY WITH FINE DIE 2 1D PL.24 SPEC C7 'ABNORMAL' PRINTING (RH). A good mourning envelope from Cheltenham to 'C B Roche Esq, Daventry, Northamptonshire', small punch hole well away from stamp, with good to fine die 2 1d pl.24 from the rare small crown watermark printing (Spec C7) lettered RH. Stamp small wrinkle but very fine perforations for this issue and tied fine strike 'CHELTENHAM/177' sideways duplex FE 5 1856. (Ref 134516).
