Printed letter with contents reference the 'GLASGOW WELLINGTON MEMORIAL' used locally in Glasgow to 'Robt Findlay Esq, Glasgow' with fine 1d red pl.8 (SG7) lettered IF, four close to fine margins and tied fine strike Glasgow Maltese cross. Filing fold, small tear clear of stamp. On reverse 'GLASGOW' date stamp OCT 18 1841. Fine reference to the Duke of Wellington. (Ref 139001).
