Envelope, small fault at top, rear flap missing and slight soiling, used in Glasgow and addressed to 'Inspector of Poor, City Parish, Glasgow' with fine die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered AH tied good strike 'OLD KILPATRICK' Scots local cancellation type VIII in black (Parent Post Office Glasgow). On reverse 'GLASGOW' date stamp MY 11 1859. (Ref 136628).
