    'ARGYLE STREET' SCOTS LOCAL TYPE XVIII (CO. LANARK P.P.O GLASGOW). Very fine wrapper from the 'Argyle Street Branch' of the National Band of Scotland Glasgow to 'National Bank of Scotland Dingwall' dated 21 April 1857 with good to fine die 2 1d red-brown on lightly blued paper (SG29), centred to left, tied superb strike 'ARGYLE/STREET' Scots Local hand stamp type XVIII. On reverse GLASGOW and DINGWALL date stamps AP 21 and AP 23 1857. Fine printed billhead within. (Ref 121413).
