1834 DORSET/'BLANDFORD PENNY POST' (DT54). Fine letter Sturminster to Shaftesbury dated 17 Oct 1834 and charged '8'. On reverse fine to very fine strike 'BLANDFORD/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (DT54) and BLANDFORD date stamp OC 17 1834. On front light strike boxed 'No.1' receivers hand stamp of Sturminster Newton. (Ref 117197).
