1841 1D PL.16 (SG8)(HC WITH DOUBLE LETTER SPEC BS5b) WITH MALTESE CROSS 'SOLID CENTRE'. A good used 1841 1d pl.16 (SG8) lettered HC with four fine margins, clearly showing 'DOUBLE H' (spec BS5b) and fine to very fine large part strike of a black Maltese Cross clearly showing SOLID CENTRE. A Maltese Cross with solid centre is recorded from Welshpool and some other 23 places. (Ref 129534).
