    1851 MAIL BRIGG TO MACCLESFIELD WITH 'MISSENT TO/DERBY R.O' HAND STAMP IN BLUE-GREEN. Letter from Brigg in Lincolnshire to 'Mefsrs Brocklehurst and Co, Bankers, Macclesfield' with 1d (SG8) lettered PI, four close to fine margins and tied fine strike '129' numeral of Brigg. Evidently missorted and on front fair strike 'Missent to/Derby R.O' hand stamp in blue-green. On reverse 'BRIGG' date stamp OC 4 1851, filing fold clear of stamp and hand stamps. (Ref 132163).
