1855 DIE 2 1D RESERVE PLATE 15 IMPRIMATUR (AH). A good imperforate imprimatur 1855 die 2 1d reserve plate 15 lettered AH with fine margins and marginal inscription in top margin. Printed with small crown watermark, alphabet 2 check letters and in a red-brown shade on very blued paper with inconsistent blueing probably damp affected. All issued stamps from this plate are rose-red on white paper but a rare and sought after imprimatur. (Ref 134916).
