1936 AIR MAIL SUTTON COLDFIELD TO CEYLON WITH 2/6 RE-ENGRAVED SEAHORSE (SG450). Envelope, 235 x 147, small tear at top, sent air mail from Sutton Coldfield to 'Miss Olive Champness, Vincent School, Batticaloa, Ceylon' with fine 2/6 re-engraved Seahorse (SG450) lightly cancelled. Also on front 'INDO-CEYLON/AIR MAIL/SPECIAL FLIGHT X'MAS/1936' cachet in purple. Very unusual destination. (Ref 137689).
