Good to fine 1d pink Birmingham to Wandsworth, Surrey cancelled "75" numeral of Birmingham and on front fine strike "HOCKLEY/Penny Post" hand stamp in black (BM288) and back stamped BIRMINGHAM DE 12 1846 with London receiver also 1846. Penny Post hand stamp used four years earlier than county cat. records. (Ref 103675).
