1911 FIRST OFFICIAL U.K. AERIAL POST/LONDON POST CARD IN OLIVE-GREEN TO CARNARVON. Very fine London post card in olive-green to 'Dr L. S. B. Tasker, Marino Carnarvon N. Wales' with KGV ½d cancelled very fine large part strike FIRST UNITED KINGDOM/AERIAL POST LONDON date stamp SP 9 1911 with the scarcer die 5. Dies 5 and 6 are much scarcer as they were used at Hendon airport on mail collected locally and from the John Barnes and Roper's stores. Message on reverse 'Hope this will reach you safely'.
