1788 MAIL LLANDILLO GRABAN, CARMARTHENSHIRE TO LONDON WITH LARGE TYPE 'HAY' HAND STAMP (W1112). Fine letter from Llandillo dated 11th Feb 1788 'To Robert Chester Esq, Bounty Office, Deans Yard, Weftm, London', charged '6' and on reverse very fine strike of the large type 'HAY' date stamp in black (W1112). Slight creasing but very fine usage and the writer is enquiring about the Augmentation of the Curacy of Llandillo Graban. (Ref 141679).
