Turned and reuused Truro to 'P.M. Little Esq, Under Sheriff of Cornwall, Devonport' with fine 1d imperforate (SG8) lettered QF, fine margins and tied good to fine strike Truro Maltese Cross in blue, alongside 'TRURO' date stamp JA 8 1843. A most unusual usage of 1d pink/1d penny red with rare usage of both black and blue Maltese Crosses. (Ref 141387).
