A fine copy of this excellent 104 page publication which accompanied this display At the RPSL with complete images of the 128 page Large Gold medal display with full text, containing many unique and very rare items. Also an excellent narrative explaining the high postal rates following the wars with France, the pressure for postal reform in the 1830's, the three stages of postal reform - the 1839 Uniform Fourpenny Post, the 1840 Uniform Penny Post and the introduction of the Penny Black as a receipt for a postal service. The 12 A3 pages are fold outs as is the single A2 page which displays the unique 1839 5th December Fourpenny Post postal notice, thus enabling collectors to have an enlarged and fully readable copy of this unique and fascinating document. A very informative and very visual record of an exceptional collection, and essential reference for the collector of GB Queen Victoria stamps and postal history. (Ref 139860).
