1776 FREE MAIL SALISBURY TO LONDON WITH 'SALISBURY' HAND STAMPS (WL597). Fine letter from Salisbury to 'Mr Husser Esq, Buckenham Street, York Buildings in the Strand, London' sent free mail, on front good strike 'FREE' circular hand stamp in red and one good and one poor strike 'SALISBURY' straight line hand stamp in black (WL597). Letter dated April 13 1776 and on reverse fine London Bishop mark '19/AP'. (Ref 137276).
