Fine letter from Wray, Lancs 'To Francis Pearson Esqr, Solicitor, Kirkby Lonsdale' with 1d (SG8) lettered TI, filing fold affects but with good to very large margins with part marginal inscription at foot, tied '436' numeral of Lancaster. On reverse fine strike of the scarce 'WRAY' udc in red (LA1356) part overstruck 'LANCASTER' date stamp SP 13 1844 in blue. (Ref 137004).
