Letter from 'Clapham by Lancaster' to 'T Eastham Esq, Solicitor, Kirkby Lonsdale' with fine die 2 1d L.C.14 (SG29) lettered QI tied fine strike 'LANCASTER/436' sideways duplex AP 29 1856. On reverse good strike 'CLAPHAM-LANC' udc in black which although geographically in North Yorkshire was under the jurisdiction of the Lancaster Post Office (YK675). (Ref 137002).
