Envelope from Skerton to 'T Eastham Esq, Kirkby Lonsdale' with fine die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered AB tied good strike 'LANCASTER/436' duplex AU 24 59. On reverse fine strike of the very scarce 'SKERTON' udc in dark blue and 'BURTON.WESTMD' date stamp AU 25 1859. (Ref 136998).
