1850 PART WRAPPER NORWICH TO SAXMUNDHAM WITH 1D PL.99 (SG8) AND 'ST STEPHEN ST/NORWICH' RECEIVERS HAND STAMP (NK324). Fine large part wrapper, no side flap, from Norwich to 'Messrs Southwell, Solrs, Saxmundham' with 1d pl.99 (SG8) lettered LA, touched at top otherwise good margins and tied '575' numeral of Norwich. Alongside good to fine strike 'St STEPHEN St/NORWICH' receivers hand stamp in black (NK324), County Catalogue records usage 1841-1849. On reverse 'NORWICH' date stamp JY 30 1850. (Ref 136950).
