Letter Henstridge to Shaftesbury dated Sep 6 1841, on front 1d (SG8) lettered JC, touched in two places otherwise good margins and tied very fine large part strike black M.C. clear of Queen's profile. On front fine strike unframed 'No.8' receivers hand stamp of Henstridge and good strike boxed 'Shaftesbury/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (DT458). (Ref 112357).
