Fine letter Sturminster to Shaftesbury dated 4th April 1845 with 1d (SG8) lettered MD, touched at right otherwise fine margins and tied fine strike "87" numeral of Blandford. On front good strike boxed "No.1" receiver's hand stamp of Sturminster Newton and on reverse good strike (over flap) "BLANDFORD/4 AP 1845/PY.POST" hand stamp in black (DT56). (Ref 111712).
