1662 MAIL DUBLIN TO LONDON WITH FINE TO VERY FINE BISHOP MARK. Very fine entire letter from Dublin dated 14th June 1662 'To Mr John Morris, at the Flyinge-Horse in Cornhill, these London' and charged '6'. On reverse fine to very fine strike London Bishop mark 'JU/23' struck over rear flap. A very fine example of this very rare early use of the Bishop Mark, all Bishop marks used prior to the Great Fire of 1666 are rare/very rare. (Ref 143568).
