Good used 1857 Die 2 1d pl.31 red brown on lightly blued paper (SG29) lettered IK showing gothic K, stamp cancelled fine to very fine strike Scottish '28' numeral of Ayton of Scotland in PURPLE-BLACK. RPS Cert 239777 states 'obliteration in purple-black, surface rubbing at bottom is genuine'. VERY RARE COLOURED CANCELLATION. (Ref 143497).
