Letter from Cheapside in London dated 29th July 1841, slight imperfections including filing fold well clear of stamps, addressed to 'Peter Fry Esq, Solr, Axbridge, Crofs, Somerset' with fine pair 1840 2d blue pl.2 (SG5) lettered RI RJ with four close to fine margins tied fine strikes black Maltese cross of London. On reverse 'LONDON' date stamp JY 21 1841 and 'CROSS' date stamp JY 30 1841. (Ref 143397).
