1810 MAIL CONWAY, CAERNARVONSHIRE TO BANGOR 'CONWAY/236' MILEAGE MARK (W823). Letter from Conway dated 16 Dec 1810, slight splitting along filing fold to 'Mr Rasbrook, Bangor', without apparent postal charge, on front fine strike 'CONWAY/236' mileage mark in black (W823). John Rasbrook was the Postmaster of Bangor 1795 until 1836 which perhaps explains the lack of a postal charge. Fine coloured contemporary print of Bangor accompanies, 131 x 102 mm. (2 items).
