Envelope sent airmail Bournemouth to Chile, South America, KGVI 6d purple (SG470) x 2, fine 2/6 Brown (SG476) cancelled 'BOURNEMOUTH-POOLE' date stamp 23 JAN 1941. At left fine Censor label with blue crayon lines indicating cover detained by Censor and referred to higher authorities. Evidently passed by the Censor with 'VINA DEL MAR/CHILE' date stamp 11 FEB 1941. Very scarce and the first such example we have seen . (Ref 143279).
