On front light strike 'Hinden/Penny Post' handstamp in black (WL348) and good strike unframed 'No.1' receiver's handstamp of East Knoyle. On reverse 'HINDON' date stamp JA 29 1840. Fine use of unpaid mail during the first month of the Uniform Penny Post being charged '2'. (Ref 143124).
