Fine letter used in London to 'To Dawson Turner Esq, Athenaeum, Pall Mall' with fine 1d pl.33 (SG8) lettered SI, fine four margins and tied very fine strike black Maltese cross. Alongside good strike 'T.P/Brompn-Row' receiver's hand stamp in black (L504/BROMRW4a). On reverse London date stamp AU 2 1843. (Ref 143067).
