1780 LARGE ENTIRE LETTER LONDON TO KILDWICK CRAVEN, YORKSHIRE, MISSENT TO BRADFORD IN YORKSHIRE AND REDIRECTED BACK TO LONDON. Fine large document/letter from London dated 11th January 1780 to 'J R Curror, Kildwick Craven, Yorkshire', manuscript '1oz½' charged six times the ¼oz rate of 4d = '2N' (2s 0d). Evidently mis-sorted with manuscript 'Mifsent to' and alongside good strike 'BRADFORD/Y' handstamp in black (YK468). Letter then redirected back to Lincolns Inn, London and charged 'In all 4N' (4s 0d). On reverse fine London Bishop mark '11/JA'. Fine unusual usage. (Ref 143046).
