1585 MAIL PARIS TO 'Alli Mag. Barto Corsini in Londro', FROM Ludco Gorini and Paulo Mei DATED 3RD DECEMBER. Very fine letter from Paris dated 1585 to Bartolomeo Corsini in London, contents references that the writers have apparently written several days ago and this letter is to ask Corsini to convey the included packet to Plymouth to a Jacques Guesdon. Inside the packet are documents from the writers to redeem one of their ships which came from Terranova (Newfoundland), the ship being captured by the English and taken with its cargo to Plymouth.
